Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon, the animated series is famous worldwide. While most of us are more familiar with the anime, some of us are also enthusiasts of the original comic book :[the manga]. Like most other animated series, Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon derived from the manga which was written by Takeuchi Naoko. All the plots, characters and such come from the comic book. The manga was first published in Nakayoshi; a monthly magazine for girls. But due to its increasing popularity, the manga has been published into volumes by Kodansha Ltd. All together there are 18 volumes covering the entire legacy of Sailormoon. So anyways, some of you may be wondering why you should care whether the manga exists or not. For one thing, if the manga hadn't existed in the first place, then the anime would never have existed. There is also a manga all about Sailor V without any other Sailor Senshi. It is entitled: Codename Sailor V and existed before Sailormoon did since Sailormoon was based on Sailor V. If you want to know why Aino Minko is acknowledged so much, that explains why. There are several differences between the manga and the anime. The ullistrations, noticeably and the storyline itself. I will try and have as many manga pics and information as I do anime.
